Spicy Kokum Juice
Ingredients:
- 1 cup kokum pulp
- 2 cups jaggery
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 2 green chilies
- water
- salt 2 teaspoons
- Procedure:
- Wash and peel kokum fruits.
- Keep outer skin aside for concentrated juice.
- Add pulp with seeds in a large bowl.
- Crush jaggery and add in a pulp, keep aside for an hour.
- Make paste of green chilies.
- After an hour strain the mixture.
- You will get concentrated juice.
- Add 1:5 water in a juice.
- Mix salt, roasted cumin powder, chilly paste.
- Adjust as per your taste.
- Strain again and serve chilled!!
- Enjoy summer!!!!
- Dried seeds of kokum are useful to make kokum butter!
