Cluster beans potato stir fry


  • Ingredients:
  • Cluster beans 500 grams
  • Potatoes 3 medium
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon,
  • Hing 1/4 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon red chilly powder, 
  • 1 teaspoon sugar,
  • Grated fresh coconut 2 tablespoons, 
  • Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • Procedure:
  • Wash and cut cluster beans as per your choice.
  • Keep cluster beans in a strainer and steam cook.
  • Wash potatoes and make four pieces. 
  • Make slices of potatoes.
  •  Heat oil in a pan on low flame.
  •  Add mustard seeds.
  •  Once mustard seeds crackle add potato slices, keep stirring on low flame. 
  • Add hing, turmeric powder, red chilly powder. 
  • Mix well. 
  • Add cluster beans, sugar, salt and grated coconut. 
  •  Mix well. Keep lid on pan for five minutes. 
  • Adjust your taste.
  • Serve hot with chapati.
