Curry Leaves Chutney

Curry leaves are most popular spice  in the Indian cooking. These leaves are natural flavoring agents. These curry leaves are many health benefits.

  • Ingredients:
  • Curry leaves 2 cups 
  • 1 tablespoon red chilly powder
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/3 cup roasted chana dal (bengal gram)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup grated dry coconut
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Procedure:
  • Wash and dry curry leaves with cotton towel.
  • Heat the pan on law flame.
  • Add 2 tablespoons oil.
  • Add curry leaves in a pan.
  • Stir fry curry leaves till they become crispy.
  • Keep aside.
  • Add grated dry coconut and roast till it converts little brown and keep aside.
  • Roast sesame seeds little brown and keep aside.
  • Add curry leaves to mixer dry jar and grind until fine powder.
  • Grind sesame seeds, grated coconut, roasted chana dal one by one.
  • Mix all powder ingredients, sugar, salt and red chilly powder.
  • Grind tamarind and then add all mixture in a dry jar.
  • Grind until fine powder.
  • Adjust sugar, salt and red chilly powder as per your taste.
  • This healthy  dry chutney is useful as spread on bread.
