Roasted raw mango tasty bread spread
Roasted raw mango tasty bread spread:
- Ingredients:
- 4 raw mangoes,
- Jaggery,
- Red chilly powder 2 teaspoons,
- Salt 1/2 teaspoon,
- Oil 3 teaspoons,
- Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon,
- Hing 1/2 teaspoon
- Procedure:
- Wash all raw mangoes.
- Roast mangoes on medium flame.
- Keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Peel and remove and keep all pulp of mango in a big bowl.
- Take jaggery 1:2 of mango pulp and mix well.
- Heat pan on low flame.
- Add oil and mustard seeds.
- Once they crackle add hing powder and red chilly powder.
- Add mixture of pulp and jaggery.
- Keep stirring.
- Add salt to taste.
- Keep boiling on low flame until all jaggery melts.
- Add salt if required.
- Remove the flame keep aside until mixture becomes cool.
- Store in a dry jar.
- Sweet, sour and spicy bread spread is ready, goes well with chapati also!
