Raw Tomato Chutney:
Raw tomato chutney is one more easy, tasty and spicy side dish.
- Ingredients:
- Raw tomato 500 grams
- Refined oil 1 tablespoon
- Crushed peanuts powder 2 tablespoons
- Grated fresh coconut 1 tablespoon
- Jaggery 1 tablespoon
- Red chilly powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt 1/2 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
- Procedure:
- Wash and cut raw tomatoes in very small cubes.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds.
- Once mustard seeds crackle, add turmeric powder and red chilly powder.
- Add tomato cubes, mix well.
- Put the lid for ten minutes.
- Keep stirring on law flame.
- Remove lid after ten minutes.
- Add jaggery and salt.
- Keep stirring.
- Add peanuts powder and grated fresh coconut.
- Stir fry for more 10 minutes.
- Adjust your taste.
- Serve with Indian bread...Chapati or Roti.
