1/2 kg Padwal (Snake gourd)
For tempering - 1 tbsp oil, mustard seeds 1/4 tsp, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
Stuffing:
1&1/2 cup fresh coconut, 1/3 cup coriander leaves finely chopped,
1/2 cup roasted peanuts powder,
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp tamarind pulp (you may add amchoor powder or lemon juice ), sugar 1/2 tsp, salt as per taste
Procedure:
Clean the snake gourd,
make 1 inch pieces. Clean the core. Keep pieces on strainer. Steam cook for ten minutes.
Add roasted peanuts powder, coconut, red chili powder, tamarind pulp, sugar and salt to taste.Grind roughly in mixer jar, then add coriander leaves. Mix nicely Stuff gently in cooked snake gourd pieces.

Take a frying pan. Add around 1 tbsp oil. Add mustard seeds and turmeric powder Arrange stuffed snake gourd pieces. Cover and cook. Change the sides occasionally.
Once snake gourd is well cooked, serve with chapati.
