Crushed sweet lemon pickle:
- Ingredients:
- Lemon pieces 1 cup,
- Jaggery 2 and 1/2 cup,
- Salt 1 tablespoon,
- Red chili powder 2 tablespoons,
- Cumin seeds powder 2 tea spoons
- Wash and drain the lemons.
- Make 8 pieces each.
- Make 1 cup pieces.
- Remove all seeds carefully.
- cook lemon pieces for two whistles.
- keep aside for ten minutes.
- Add lemon pieces in a dry, clean mixer jar.
- Crush finely.
- Add finely chopped jaggery and salt.
- Put the mixture in a mixer jar.
- Add red chili powder and cumin seeds powder.
- Mix well.Grind the mixture few minutes for second time.
- Transfer in a airtight glass jar.
- Refrigerate the jar.
