Aamba Dal:
Ingredients: one cup Chana dal,

 half cup grated raw mango, 
1/4 cup sunflower oil, 
1tsp. green chili paste,
 salt, sugar 1tsp,
 mustard seeds half tsp
, asfoetida 1 tsp, turmeric powder 1 tsp,
 red chili powder if required, 
coriander leaves finely chopped 2 table spoon

Procedure:
1) Soak dal 4/5 hours.


2) Drain all water.


3) Grind on food processor (vegetable cutter),


4) Make paste of green chilies


5) Heat oil in small pan. Add mustard seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, and a pinch of red chili powder. Keep aside for ten minutes.


6) Wash raw mango, peel and grate it.


7) Mix dal, grated mango, chili paste, finely chopped coriander , sugar and salt to taste.


8)   Mix tempering.


9) Add salt, red chili powder if required.


10) Serve with roti.
