Raw mango and green chili spicy chatni/ thecha
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup grated raw mango
- 250 grams green chilies
- 50 grams mustard seeds
- Refined oil 2 table spoons
- Fenugreek seeds 1 teaspoon
- Salt 1 tablespoon
- For tempering: turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
- Hing ( asafoetida) 1teaspoon
- Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
- Procedure:
- Remove the stalk of chilies.
- Wash all green chilies and wipe them with cotton towel.
- Cut green chilies into small pieces.
- Crush roughly in a mixer jar and keep aside.
- Wash and wipe raw mangoes with cotton towel.
- Remove seed ,peel and grate the mango.
- Heat oil in a small pan for tempering.
- Stir fry fenugreek seeds little brown and keep aside.
- Add mustard seeds. As soon as mustard seeds crackle remove flame.
- Add hing and turmeric powder. Let it cool down.
- Grind fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds.
- In a big bowl add crushed green chilies, grated raw mango, ground mustard and fenugreek seeds and salt.
- Pour tempering and mix well.
- Enjoy spicy Pickle!!!!
