Mint Lemon Shikanji
- Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice,
- 1 table spoon mint leaves,
- 3 teaspoons sugar,
- a pinch of salt,
- sweet basil seeds 1 teaspoon,
- water 250 ml,
- ice cubes,
- shikanji spice powder
For shikanji spice powder:
4 teaspoons cuminseeds,
1 teaspoon black pepper,
2 teaspoons black salt
1/2 teaspoon sea salt.
Roast cumin seeds slightly.
Add cumin seeds, black pepper, black salt and sea salt in a mixer jar.
Make fine paste
. Store in a dry jar.
Use in any type of juices, salads!
- Procedure:
- Add 1/4 cup water in sweet basil seeds and soak for ten minutes.
- Add mint leaves, lemon juice, sugar, salt and water.
- Blend in a blender jar, keep aside.
- Take the serving glass.
- Add soaked basil seeds first, then lemon mint juice. Add ice cubes and then a pinch of shikanji spice powder.
- Serve chilled shikanji!
