Fresh(Wet) cashews Curry:
- Ingredients:
- Fresh cashews 250 grams,
- red chilly powder 1 teaspoon,
- oil 1 tablespoon,
- mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon,
- hing powder 1/4 teaspoon,
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,
- jaggery 1 teaspoon,
- fresh grated coconut 2 tablespoons,
- water
- Procedure:
- Soak fresh wet cashews in the warm water for an hour.
- Peel cashews and keep in a normal water.
- Heat oil in the pan on medium flame.
- Add mustard seeds.
- Once they crackle add hing powder, turmeric powder and red chilly powder.
- Add cashews in the pan and stir well.
- Keep lid and cook for ten minutes on low flame.
- Check cashews.
- When they cooked properly add jaggery, salt and fresh grated coconut.
- Add 1/2 cup water and boil.
- Serve hot with chapati!
