Mango sweet: kalakand:



  • Ingredients: 
  • Mango pulp 100 grams,
  •  sugar 100 grams, 
  • mawa 100 grams, 
  • paneer 100 grams, 
  • Sliced pistachios, 
  • saffron threads
  • cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Procedure: 
  • Take a large pan. 
  • Add sugar and Alphonso mango pulp, paneer and mawa in a pan. 
  • Mix well.  
  • Keep stirring on low flame. 
  • Add cardamom powder. 
  • Stir continuously till the mixture gets thicken.
  • Grease the flat plate with ghee. 
  • Once the mixture gets thicken transfer and spread it on greased plate. 
  • Sprinkle sliced pistachios and saffron threads. 
  • Cut into desired shape after half an hour.
  •  Mango kalakand is ready to serve!
