Ridge Gourd Chutney
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup peeled skin of ridge gourd
- 1/2 cup grated fresh coconut
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 green chilies
- 3 Garlic cloves (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds powder
- 1 teaspoon oil
- Water
- Procedure:
- Wash ridge gourd and peel the skin.
- Cut peeled skin into small pieces.
- I used Ridge gourd to make vegetable.
- Heat oil in the pan.
- Add skin pieces and stir well on medium flame for five minutes.
- Keep aside.
- Wash and cut green chilies.
- Add all ingredients in ridge gourd skin.
- Blend in a mixer and make smooth paste.
- Add water while blending as required.
- Adjust as per your taste.
- Serve chutney with bread, chapati or rice.
- Enjoy cooking!!!
